On Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour, I delivered end-to-end technical execution across pre-visualisation, Disguise media server programming, and real-time Notch content creation, providing on-site and remote engineering support throughout the tour run.
I developed 3D pre-visualisations for stage, lighting, and video concepts, culminating in an interactive VR environment for client pitches. To streamline feedback, I built a custom web application allowing the team to dynamically adjust scenes and evaluate viewpoints directly within the VR space.
On the infrastructure side, I programmed multiple tracks and timelines using the Disguise media server system—controlled via grandMA3 using a custom plugin I developed for real-time parameter access. The system also featured adaptable project files for festival and B-rig layouts, and rock-solid tour support.
For visual content, I designed and rendered a hybrid mix of pre-rendered assets and interactive real-time Notch looks for live IMAG processing. I also re-formatted and optimized video assets for different stage layouts and show variations throughout the tour.
